Stark monochrome concrete punctuated by a single signal-red steel element — a cantilevered stair core that reads as a vertical marker against the grey.
The house is deliberately two-toned: everything structural is off-form concrete left grey; one element — the stair tower — is clad in folded signal-red steel plate. It cantilevers from the main volume like a marker or a flag, giving address to an otherwise deliberately anonymous facade. Inside, the red continues as a single painted wall on each level, always the stair wall.
