Frequently asked questions

How much does a custom home cost?

Every Stillpoint home is individually designed, so cost depends on size, site and finish. As a guide, bespoke custom builds in the Brisbane area typically run on a per-square-metre basis that we confirm in a fixed-price tender — use our estimator for an indicative range, then we refine it against your brief and site.

How long does it take to build?

Most custom homes take roughly 9–14 months from contract to handover, plus a design and approvals period beforehand. We give you a detailed program at tender and keep you updated at every stage.

Do you build on my land, or offer knockdown-rebuild?

Both. We build on your block and handle knockdown-rebuilds across Brisbane and surrounds — including site assessment, demolition coordination, and council and certifier liaison.

What's included in your fixed-price quote?

Our tender is a genuine fixed price covering the agreed scope, allowances and inclusions — no vague provisional sums hiding the real number. Any client-requested change is priced and approved in writing before work proceeds.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Stillpoint is a licensed builder carrying full construction and public-liability insurance, with structural warranty on every home. Licence and membership details are listed on our site and provided in your contract.

How do we get started?

Send us your brief through the contact form or book a consultation. We'll discuss your vision, site and budget, then prepare a concept and indicative pricing before you commit to anything.
